What is a repeat prescription?
A repeat prescription is a medication that is required on a regular basis which has been authorised by a GP.
How do I make a Repeat Prescription request?
Wherever possible we ask that requests for repeat medication be made in writing, 48 hours before collection
- by putting your paper repeat slip into the box in the surgery foyer,
- by posting your repeat slip into the surgery, please enclose a SAE for us to mail your script back to you,
- by using the NHS App, to register follow the link NHS Wales App.
- or via the chemist managed repeat service.
- by telephoning our dedicated prescription line via the main line number 01792 532185, option 1 between 10:00 and 13:00 only.
- If you are a resident in a care home, you can authorise for the home to manage your My Health Online account to request your medication.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
