Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication and approved for repeat prescriptions can order in a number of ways:

• In person - hand your repeat slip into reception having clearly marked the items required.
• By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.

Please allow at least 24 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Patients using the postal service should allow 1 week.

There will be a requirement to attend the Doctor for a checkup at least every 6 months before issuing of repeat prescriptions.

Prescriptions may be collected between the hours of 16:30 and 18:00 on weekdays.

If collecting on behalf of another person written consent must be provided by the patient and identification of the person collecting must be verified.
