GP online services allow you to order your repat medication from your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, however, other patients have found the online service more convenient. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
How to sign-up
For more information, please contact reception or next time you visit the surgery, bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and correspondence showing your address eg utility bill or bank statement. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you to register.
How to register
To access these services you will need to register for them to obtain a username and password. Please visit the Practice with one form of photographic identification. The receptionist will give you a PIN number, which must be used within 14 days or it expires
If ordering your repeat medication
You can view and request repeat prescriptions online. Medication which is not on your repeat slip will be subject to review by either the Pharmacist or GP. These items will take at least 48 hour to process. Please order your medication in plenty of time.
What to do if you need to change your access/pin number
If you forget your access or pin number or you think that someone else knows this number, you will need to come to the surgery in person with photographic proof of your identity which shows the address that we have you registered at. We will then cancel your existing registration and re-issue you with a new document. You will then have to re-register your details again on the website.
