Delivery Service
A delivery service for repeat prescriptions operates to Skirlaugh Post Office, Brandesburton Cost Cutter, Skipsea Post Office and North Frodingham Cherry’s Garage. Please ask the receptionist each time you order your prescription if you wish to use this service, otherwise we will assume that you will collect your prescription from the surgery or pharmacy. We also operate a home delivery service every week day between 13:00 - 15:00; someone must be in to receive the delivery.
If you are exempt from paying for your prescription, please advise the receptionist each time you place your order.
In line with national policy, we only prescribe one month’s supply of medication at a time, with the exception of the contraceptive pill and hormone replacement therapy (3 months).
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
