Shires Health Liaison is the name of the practice’s patient participation group, which was established in March 2002.
The members of the group have been selected from various sections of the community, hopefully to represent all interests. The group meets on a monthly basis and provides the practice with feedback on patient satisfaction and patient’s suggestions on further improvement of the services provided by the practice.
“To provide an opportunity for opinion sharing and encouraging two-way communications between the practice and its patients”.
Mrs Kim Kirby – Chairman
Mrs Sandra Frisby - Vice Chairman
Mrs Sandra Peake
Ms. Christine Wilson
Mrs Ann Roper
Mr Barry Henderson
Patients can contact the group to register their views by either sending an email to mailto:email@example.com or by leaving a note/letter in the liaison post box (at the front of the waiting room) or by speaking to Mrs Zoe Tennant – Practice Manager who will pass any messages to a member of the group directly.
We are hoping to develop a Virtual Patient Participation Group in the near future, to work alongside the existing patient participation group. This group will be asked their opinions about the existing services we offer and any new ones that we are thinking of introducing.
