Patient Participation Group (PPG)
What is a PPG?
A selection of patients and staff who meet at regular intervals to decide ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered both by the Practice and locally to the patients.
What Can a PPG do?
Offer feedback on the patient perspective; Help the surgery to make the most effective use of their resources; Improve communication through Newsletters, Website and other ways; Help to promote good health and organise health promotion events in partnership with the Practice.
What are the Benefits of a PPG?
Patients will have a better understanding and knowledge of the Surgery and its staff; Patients will benefit from improved communication with staff; Patients will have a forum to suggest positive ideas and voice concerns; Patients can be more responsible for their own health.
