The Wand Medical Centre is still open, but the way we can all access healthcare during the Covid-19 pandemic has changed. In order to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff our doors remain closed and we ask all our patients not to visit the practice without speaking with a member of the practice team first. Most queries can now be dealt with over the telephone which mitigates risk and saves you time. In order to further support patients during this difficult time, a health app for Birmingham and Solihull patients is available. It is free to download from the Apple or Google Play Stores and is very easy to use.

You can also visit:https://app.birminghamandsolihullhealthapp.com

The app is secure and links directly with your GP practice. You can order your repeat medication via the app 24 hours per day. You can also check any symptoms you may have. The app will then give you access to the right type of advice / appointment. Download the app now so it is at your fingertips when needed.

Patient Participation Group

We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.

To help us with this, we have a patient participation group so that you can have your say. We ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

Please contact the Practice Manager if you are interested in joining our patient group.

If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
