Rise Park Surgery is an approved training practice and we have a GP Registrar attached to the practice for 4 months.  The registrar is under the supervision of Dr Malone or an approved deputy when Dr Malone is on leave.  The GP Registrar is a fully qualified doctor who is undergoing extended training in general practice.

You may be asked on occasions if the registrar can video his or her consultation with you.  These videos will be treated in a confidential manner and will be used for training purposes only.  If, however, you do not wish to be videoed, please let the reception staff know.

Study_booksRise Park Surgery is also a ‘training practice’ for medical students. This means that the students spend 1 month with us in order to gain experience they need to become doctors.

As a training practice, your medical records may be used for educational purposes.
