Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from our GP practice.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be receive treatment from us and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will either have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with us, if you are going to live permanently within the practice boundary.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact us to make an appointment. Prior (at least 30 minutes) to attending your appointment you will have to complete the temporary resident registration form (link below). This is to get your details on our system. We will also forward any treatment you have received to your permanently registered GP practice, as long as this is within the UK. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered permanently.
