Temporary Registrations

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a Doctor but need to be seen, you can receive emergency treatment from Woodview Medical Centre for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be seen at Woodview Medical Centre and still remain a patient of your permanent Doctors. After three-months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register at the practice.

To register as a temporary patient please come in to the surgery to complete the registration form.  The registration forms need to be completed and entered on to our system BEFORE you will be offered an appointment.

We are under no obligation to accept you as a temporary patient and if we are unable to see you please contact the 111 service who will offer you advice.  You cannot register at Woodview if you are a permanent resident in Northampton or the surrounding area.  Please see your registered practice.
