Practice Boundary

The practice boundary for taking on new patients is as follows:

Northern & Eastern Boundary.  The area to the south and west of the road boundary running from Craiglockhart Avenue in the north along Colinton Road, south to Colinton Mains Drive, Oxgangs Road North and Swanston Road to the east.

Western Boundary.  Area to the east of the railway line from the north west corner of Baberton Golf Course in the south west to Craiglockhart Avenue to the north.

Southern Boundary. The area to the north of the northern margins of Pentland Hills to the south. Currie/Juniper Green boundary to the west.

Travelling to the Surgery

By Bus:

The surgery is served by the following bus routes:

No 10 and 45 (bus stops almost opposite the surgery entrance).

No 4 and 27 (leave bus at Firrhill junction with Oxgangs Road North and walk 0.8 mile along Colinton road past Redford Barracks and Merchiston Castle School or take a 10 or 45)

By Rail:

To Waverley Station (or Haymarket) and then take a taxi or LRT bus as detailed below.

By Road:

From the North or South take the Edinburgh City By-pass and exit at the Dreghorn Junction.

Follow the road (Dreghorn Link) across the first mini round-a-bout (petrol station on your left-hand side), to the next round-a-bout.

Turn left onto Redford Road. Follow this road to the end then turn right onto Colinton Road.

The Surgery entrance is almost opposite the road end. Turn first left into the Car Park.
