Service Provision | Lifelink offers free wellbeing support to Glasgow residents who are struggling with things like stress, anxiety, relationships and other mild to moderate mental health issues. Support is offered through One-to-one counselling, CBT Group Therapy and Wellbeing Classes, giving individual’s space and support to understand and manage feelings, thoughts and behaviour. Their website also has a range of self-help tools and links that can be used. One-to-one Counselling Our counselling service gives clients the space and support to understand and manage feelings, thoughts and behaviour. These confidential sessions are available free in venues throughout Glasgow and via telephone or video calls, to anyone with a Glasgow postcode. CBT Group Therapy (Available Soon) For clients who are assessed as being suitable, our qualified therapists run cognitive behavioural therapy groups that are structured around helping participants who are struggling with things like stress, anxiety and relationships. Wellbeing Classes In addition to group therapy, we also offer a range of interactive online wellbeing classes that focus on developing the life skills essential to lead a happy and productive life – these require no referral and Glasgow residents can register directly via our website. Self-help tools The website has to access a range of audio and video resources and links to useful information and organisations for adults, children and businesses. These resources are designed to be used in your own time and space to help improve your own mental wellbeing. |

Clear your head – practical things you can do to look after you mental health and wellbeing during your stay at home. |
Service Provision | The Scottish Government launched the 'Clear Your Head' campaign, which highlights practical things that you can do to look after your mental health and wellbeing whilst continuing to stay at home. Visit the campaign website, https://clearyourhead.scot/, it provides tips which are focused around the following: · Keeping to a routine – trying to sleep and wake at the same time, and eating at regular times. · Moving more – staying active, within the current guidance, to boost your mood. · Taking a break – limiting exposure to the news on social media if you feel things are getting on top of you, instead using fun games, quizzes and apps online to pass the time. · Making time for yourself – simply taking a breather or doing something you enjoy. · Keeping in touch – phoning family and friends to ease worry and feel connected. The campaign website will also signpost to sources of help and advice including NHS Inform, and helplines including NHS24, Breathing Space, SAMH and the Samaritans. |
