When We Are Closed

Please call NHS 111 if you need medical help when this practice is closed.

The NHS 111 team has trained advisers, nurses and doctors available at all times. They can help over the phone and advise you where to go if you need to see someone. Please don’t waste time going to the wrong place – phone NHS 111 first.
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, seven-days-a-week. Just call 111or go online: 111.nhs.uk 

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.   

Bank Holiday Closures

Sydenham House Medical Centre will be closed on the following Public Bank Holidays during 2023. 

Monday 2nd January - New Years Day (Substitute day)
Friday 7th April - Good Friday
Monday 10th April - Easter Monday
Monday 1st May - Early May Bank Holiday
Monday 8th May - Bank Holiday for the Coronation of King Charles III
Monday 29th May - Spring Bank Holiday
Monday 28th August - Summer Bank Holiday
Monday 25th December - Christmas Day
Tuesday 26th December - Boxing Day

We ask patients to please make sure repeat prescriptions are ordered in plenty of time to ensure patients have enough medication over these closures.
