We are available for pre-booked appointments for review of your chronic disease from 7:30 - 8:00am each morning Monday - Friday. You can book an appointment for these reviews from this time by calling 07977 814095

Practice Closed for Training

Similar to other practices in Aberdeen, we participate in Protected Learning Time sessions that address the ongoing development of doctors, nurses and administrative staff. This means that we will be closed for a a few hours on some afternoons but these will be advertised in advance. There are approximately five of these Protected Learning Time sessions per year. As with any closure of the practice, an answering machine will give an emergency contact number.

When We Are Closed

NHS 24, along with GMED (Grampian Medical Emergency Department) provides emergency cover from 6:00pm to 08:00am when the practice is closed as well as during the weekend and public holidays. If you need medical assistance at these times, telephone NHS 24 on 111 (if you have any difficulties contacting NHS 24, please dial 100 for the operator).

A receptionist from NHS 24 will answer your call and either:

• Arrange for you to speak to a doctor or nurse
• Invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor 
• Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre

  
In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Public Holidays

Local Holidays 

The practice provides a limited service with pre-booked appointments on the majority of public holidays (a full service is provided on May Day holiday). The Reception telephone line will be closed on these days. On these dates if you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the practice re-opens, please contact NHS 24 by phoning 111.

Festive Period 

The Practices closes for the 2 day holiday on each of Christmas/New Year
