Out-of-hours calls

For urgent medical advice when the surgery is closed, call 111 for advice over the phone by a clinician. You may be advised to see a doctor based at Worcester, Redditch or Kidderminster hospital.

Always ring before attending one of the Centres as there may not be a doctor on-site. Please note that all calls to the emergency service are recorded. Do make sure that your out-of-hours call is absolutely necessary.

Other local NHS services

Medical advice is also available 24 hours a day from NHS Direct on 111. This nurse-led help-line offers expert NHS health advice and information (calls charged at local rates). Your local pharmacist will also be able to give you health advice. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis. For details call NHS Direct.
