We offer extended hours between 7am and 8am Monday to Friday.

Opening Times                                                     

We are closed on 10 statutory public holidays each year. Public holidays dates are listed under Public Holidays within the opening times section.

The building opens at 8am however if you have a pre-booked extended hours appointment between 7am and 8am or after 5.30pm, please enter the building via the rear entrance (off the car park). The main door of the Health Centre opens at 8am when the NHS Lanarkshire staff arrive.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can contact NHS 24 by calling 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Advice for Adults and anyone aged over 5 years - When to call 999 in an emergency.

• Drowsiness, confusion or unconsciousness
• Fitting
• Breathing difficulties
• Heavy bleeding
• Severe chest pain
• Severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis
• Severe burns or scalds
• Think may be having a heart attack or stroke
• Significant trauma such as a road traffic accident, fall from height or significant head injury

• Spotty purple-red rash that does not fade when glass applied

When to contact the practice immediately about your child aged under 5 year

If your child is experiencing any of the following, please contact the practice immediately on 01555 752150.

The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm (excluding bank holidays).

Telephone 111 outwith practice opening hours.

• Your baby is under 3 months old and has a temperature of 38C or higher
• Your baby is 3-6 months old and has a temperature of 39C or higher
• Your baby has green or blood-stained vomit
• Your baby has dry nappies
• Your child has a wheeze
• Your child's health is getting worse
• Your child seems very unwell
