When We Are Closed

Outside of normal surgery hours emergency cover is provided by NHS24 on 111. If you need to see a doctor the adviser will arrange an appointment with Lothian Unscheduled Care Service (LUCS).

LUCS in Midlothian is located within the Midlothian Community Hospital and is staffed by doctors from various practices, including this one, along with specially trained nurses. From midnight to 08:00 LUCS is provided from the New Royal Infirmary at Little France.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
