Dispensary Manager

40 hours a week - Competitive salary

Duties:

1. Ensure that inventory is properly replenished to the appropriate dispensing areas within the pharmacy.
2. Receive and stock product
3. Check returned products for expiration dates.
4. Ensure products are disposed of according to expiration dates and required handling procedures.
5. Making sure our expertise and medicines are easily accessed and dispensed to patients.
6. Leading, motivating, training and developing your colleagues.
7. Keeping the both the customer and the business safe and legal.
8. Building working relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries
9. Ensuring payment claims are accurate for anything covered by the NHS.
10. Using the modern planning systems to ensure we have the right number of colleagues and pharmacists on duty to meet customer needs
11. Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

Skills, Experience and Required Qualifications

• Ability to work as a team 
• Positive and proactive attitude with drive & enthusiasm to see projects through to completion
• Flexibility and commitment – able and willingness to work outside of normal office hours and must be able to work during weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
• Previous experience working as a manager is preferred.
• Degree in Business/ Management/ Pharmacy preferred.
