We very much recognise that wait times to see specialists in secondary care are at an all time high.

As a GP practice, we have no influence over how long it may take for an appointment to be made once we have sent a referral to the hospital.

By clicking on this link, you can find out the average wait times for various departments within secondary care.

Whilst we want to help you in any way we can, we have no control over the hospital booking systems.

If you feel your wait is excessive, we suggest you contact PALs (the complaints department at each hospital trust) or your local MP.

Of course, if you symptoms worsen whilst waiting, please do contact us to help you manage these until you are seen by the specialist.
