consultationThe Doctor - Patient Relationship

Above all else, our doctors and nurses are committed to ensuring you recieve the best possible care. We respect your right to privacy and keep all your information confidential and secure. All surgery staff work within the same constraints and are only able to access your medical records on a 'Need-To-Know' basis. As a result information within records is only available to those involved in your care. This information is protected by the Data Protection Act. Should you have any particular concerns regarding confidentiality issues please discuss these with your GP.

Where there is a breakdown in the doctor-patient relationship, we reserve the right to remove a patient from our practice list. We have a 'Zero-Tolerance Policy' regarding verbal or physical abuse towards staff. Should you have an issue with the care you have received please channel your concerns through the appropriate channels rather than taking out frustrations on staff. We do our best to be courteous and respectful to patients and their needs at all times and request that they do the same in return. Please help us further by arriving on time for your appointments and calling to cancel an appointment where you may be unable to attend.
