Home Visits

Home VisitsIf possible please try to telephone the surgery before 11:00am if you require a home visit.

A Doctor will review all visits following morning surgery. If you feel your condition is urgent and can not wait until the Doctor contacts you please  call 111 or 999.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be resolved by advice from the clinician, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Home visits are only available for patients who are genuinely housebound because of illness or disability. Transport problems and the weather situation are not reasons for requesting a home visit.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergencyNHS ChoicesThis site is brought to you by My Surgery Website
