Test Results

Please note the following in connection with a test result:

•  If the GP or Practice Nurse has asked you to make a follow-up appointment it is NOT necessary for you to enquire about a test result on the telephone. Please allow 10 days.
• If you do not have a follow-up appointment then please telephone reception 7 days after the test to ensure that a result has been received and seen by the GP
• Alternatively, the GP may have given you specific instructions.

Please telephone after 11 am for test results.

Reception staff are not clinically trained and cannot give you specific details about the result – please do not ask them. They will tell you if the result was normal, if you need to make a further appointment with the GP or if a prescription has been issued.
