APPOINTMENTS

  • ALL requests for GP appointments will be assessed by a doctor, by telephone
  • GPs will take requests and carry out telephone consultations between 8.30-10.30am and 2pm-3.30pm daily (except on a Wednesday)
  • We are currently using a Phone First service model
ROUTINE TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS: 
  • Patients can book a 10 minute telephone consultation with a GP using our online Patient Access Service (See Online Services Tab for information) OR  by telephoning reception. 
  • There will be a limited number of telephone consultations available 
  • A GP will ring you at your appointment time (or 15 minutes either side of this)
  • You will be contacted only once - if you miss your call you will need to book another appointment 
  • Patient Access appointments will be released and available to book outside of working hours a week in advance
  • You will only be offered a face to face appointment if required after speaking with a GP 
  • If you are asked to attend the surgery please attend on time, wear a face covering and maintain social distancing
EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS:
  • Requests for emergency appointments should be made before 11am

  • The reception team will ask you questions to assess urgency  

  • These requests will be passed to the GP who will determine how we can best help you

  • When we have reached capacity you will be asked to call back the next working day
  • Remember you can book routine appointments and check for cancellations using our on-line service
