Appointments

How to arrange to see a doctor, nurse or a health care assistant:

Tanyfron Primary Care has the following system:

• The doctors have a telephone appointment system. The Doctor or Advanced Nurse Practitioner will ring you initially. If a face to face appointment is deemed necessary, the doctor or nurse will invite you in and give you a time during your telephone consultation. 
• The health care assistants have pre-booked appointments in the morning for blood tests. We no longer accept walk-ins. 
• The Practice Nurse can only be seen by making a morning or afternoon appointment. This is not a walk in service. 
 

If you wish to contact the surgery, please telephone 01545 570271. Each routine appointment with the doctors or nurses is for 10 minutes. You can make an appointment in advance by telephoning or calling in at the surgery.

If you feel you need an appointment for longer than 10 minutes please ask to discuss this with the receptionist in private.

Please be aware that when making an appointment or requesting a telephone consultation, you will be asked for a brief description of your medical problem to ensure that you are dealt with by the most appropriate healthcare professional.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend an appointment for any reason please inform us by telephone as soon as possible in order for us to give the appointment to someone else.
