Standard Appointments
It is the patient's responsibility to tell the surgery if they cannot keep an appointment or if they are going to be late. Please cancel unwanted appointments.
All surgeries are by appointment only. You can request an appointment with a doctor of your choice. If the doctor of your choice is not available you will be offered the earliest possible alternative. Appointments are available on the day, 48 hours in advance and up to 2 weeks in advance.

Urgent cases will be seen on the same day. Sick notes are not an emergency and will be refused in an emergency surgery.
In An Emergency
If you are confronted by a serious problem call an ambulance (999) before calling the surgery.
Such instances are as follows:
- Chest pain in someone over 40 years old
- Severe breathlessness which is unusual for the patient
- Unconscious/difficulty rousing
- F.A.S.T –
Facial weakness – can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped?
Arm weakness – can the person raise both arms?
Speech problems – can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
Time to call 999 - Sudden loss of vision
- Vomiting blood
- Prolonged fit – more than 10 minutes
- Early pregnancy severe abdominal pain
- Any severe pain in the body

Extended Hours
Late evening surgeries are provided by the Practice.
These surgeries are by appointment only and are aimed at our patients who have difficulty in attending during normal working hours.
The late surgeries are not open for ordering prescriptions or general enquiries and are purely for patients with appointments.

- Wednesday: 18:00-20:00
- Thursday: 18:00-20:00
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
