Wednesday Day Release

Your Wednesday day release programme, operates the first and third Wednesdays of each month. You are expected to attend 70% of whole day release teaching during your three years. We expect trainees in GP attachments to attend for whole days and those in hospital posts, to attend as often as they can be released (liaise with your Medical Workforce Officer). Useful hints

  • The cheapest way for trainees to park, is to buy a ticket from Patient Accounts in the main concourse. These tickets cost £16.00 and allow parking in staff car parks only, for 15 visits. Alternatively, a non-staff ticket allows 14 visits using any car park other than those reserved for staff, and costs £19.00.

  • If you undertake modules on e-GP they go straight onto your eportfolio: http://www.e-lfh.org.uk/programmes/general-practitioners/
  • The library have a small number of passwords for you to access online AKT practice. The library’s comments were: We currently subscribe to OnExamination http://www.onexamination.com/ and provide access to:
