Community Addiction Recovery Service

CAReS is a community-based integrated alcohol and drug treatment service which is designed to support adults who at 16+ with their recovery from alcohol or drug dependency problems. This service is made up of Social Workers, Substance Misuse Workers, Occupational Therapists and Nurses. There is additional support provided from Addictions Psychology, Community Prescribers and Addictions Psychiatry. 

They can offer services such as:

  • Advice & support
  • Rehabilitation 
  • Talking Therapies
  • Drug Misuse
  • Harm Reduction
  • Substance Misuse

Patients can self-refer or be referred by a GP or a Social Worker.

NHS Lanarkshire Alcohol and Drug Service (LAADS)

This service offers free one-to-one alcohol and drug service for individuals and family members affected by alcohol and drug problems.
