The practice is open and is here for our patients, however we are doing things a little differently to keep both staff and patients safe during the Covid pandemic. If you need medical attention or you have a query please in the first instance use our new system AskMyGP. Don't worry if you are not able to i.e. don't have access or unable to, please ring us and our reception team will raise a request on the system on your behalf.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE unless you have been asked to by a member of our staff. If you have a temperature of 37.8 and/or a new onset cough and /or a loss of smell/taste please check your symptoms with NHS 111
Please order your prescription via your online access where possible. If you are unable to order your prescription online you can order medication via your local pharmacy.
Routine telephone appointments are available. Please note that most appointments are BY TELEPHONE ONLY unless advised otherwise by a clinician.
The doctor/advanced nurse practitioner may decide that they would like to video call you for an appointment. The practice currently uses a service called AskMyGP for this, which is recommended by NHS England and is therefore a secure service to use.
The clinician may also ask you to send a photo of a rash etc that you may have via AskMyGP.
The practice nurses are seeing patients for the following procedures:
Cervical smear tests, ECG's, childhood immunisations, contraceptive injections and other vaccinations.
If you have been asked to attend for an appointment please ensure that you have a face covering as these are required to be worn once you have entered the building.
If you are due to attend the surgery for an appointment and develop either a temperature of 37.8 and/or a new onset cough and /or a loss of smell/taste PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND telephone us instead.
