BGPERT Face to Face Meetings

Please note our face to face meetings are postponed until further notice

March 2020

Dear Colleagues,

Given the current state of national emergency and social distancing measures enforced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BGPERT educational events have been currently suspended and plan to restart in July.

As a Charity we are heavily reliant on our membership fees to provide the range of valuable events in our programme. We recognise that this time of uncertainty affects everybody differently, but if you are able to help us we would appreciate this. The situation is changing rapidly and the health and safety of our colleagues and patients must be our first priority. We will consider a postponement of your membership if the pandemic continues for more than a few months, but plan to restart and reschedule missed educational events from July. We will obviously be reviewing this decision regularly.

We also realise we need to offer education differently, so we will also be linking with other organisations for specific learning relating to the pandemic, and its impact and we will share this with you intermittently.

With thoughts for us all involved in the care of our patients in this difficult time.
