If you need a doctor in an emergency when the surgery is closed, you will be directed to the following numbers:

Between 17:30 - 18:30 

  • call 0300 121 0265 for Colerne and Marshfield Patients

  • and 0300 121 0214 for Wick and Pucklechurch Patients        

  • After 18:30, weekends & bank holidays call 111

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Appointments & Home Visits

diary_appointmentSurgeries usually run until mid-morning when the last person requesting an appointment is seen. However, please telephone as soon as possible after 08:30 in order to allow us to plan the rest of the days work.

If for any reason you cannot consult in the normal surgery time but could attend by special arrangement, please ask.

Please note that although the surgery is open between 13:00 and 14:00 for collection of medication and to make appointments in person, a skeleton staff operates. Incoming telephone calls are asked to call an emergency number.

Cancellations

Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend an appointment in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Home Visits

Visits take at least four times as long as consultations in the surgery and we cover large areas.  Obviously many housebound, elderly and very ill people will need to be visited. Please request home visits by 10:30 wherever possible,
