Blood tests for children under 16:

The Laurels Healthy Living

Children under 16 are all seen in our children's outpatient clinic. The clinic is  open Monday to Friday, 1pm-4.45pm.  No appointment is necessary.  We treat children as a priority in the clinic and see them as soon as possible.  There is also a morning  clinic on Thursday, 9am-10am, for children who are fasting.  These appointments should be booked in advance.  The only children who need fasting bloods are those with borderline blood sugar results and hypercholeterolemia.
