Travel Advice and Vaccinations

It is important to plan this aspect of your holiday well in advance as vaccines take some time to become effective and may have to be administered 3 weeks apart. Which vaccines are required depends on where you are travelling, and what type of trip you are undertaking when you get there.

The practice no longer provides travel advice - Please contact NHS Vaccination Service on 01382 423108 or you can email them on tay.travelvaccines@nhs.scot

Information regarding vaccines relating to foreign travel can be found at www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk. Please visit this site with the location of your holiday and note the recommended vaccines. We recommend you do this at least 8 weeks prior to travel. If you are unsure of your current vaccination status please contact the surgery and we can advise you of any vaccinations you have previously had.

For vaccines not listed above please contact one of the local travel clinics listed below, or a provider of your choice:-
