Flu clinics 2020 and 2021

We have completed our flu clinics for 2020. We vaccinated over 4000 patients, the biggest flu vaccination campaign in our history.

In 2020 the flu vaccine was offered at the Surgery to the following groups.  We expect the same groups to be eligible for our NHS flu vaccination campaign for 2021, starting in September.  

• All adults who are 50 and over, or who turn 50 during the winter
• People with certain medical conditions (including children in at-risk groups from 6 months of age)
• Pregnant women
• Household contacts of someone on the Shielded Patient List 
• Children aged 2 and 3
• Frontline health or social care workers 

School-aged children who do not have qualifying medical conditions are vaccinated by the school immunisations team and not at the Surgery.
