Musculoskeletal (MSK) Practitioner

The Practice is offering a new service to patients.

Supporting our online ZoomPhysio plans we have a team of clinical staff who are experts in musculoskeletal health.

'Good musculoskeletal health means that the muscles, joints and bones work well together without pain.'

If you have a problem that affects your neck, back, joints or muscles and you are not unwell you can now consult with a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Practitioner instead of a GP.

You can enjoy faster access to the right help when you need it.

Our MSK Practitioners are highly trained Physiotherapists who have the right experience to be able to explain your symptoms, give you the right advice and most times get you going with the right exercises.

Our MSK team can also request certain investigations and refer you into other services for treatment when necessary.

As our MSK Practitioners are integrated with our surgery team they are supported by our GP’s to deliver this new service.

Nationally, just 5% of patients choose to see a GP afterwards and 96% would recommend the service to family or friends.

David Meech, Sam Radcliffe and Matt Dowdeswell are now on-hand to get you the help that you need.

Speak to a Receptionist to book your appointment.

MSK conditions can affect people across the life course. Prevention, early detection and treatment can enable people to live in good health, remain independent. People with good musculoskeletal health can carry out the activities they want to with ease and without discomfort.
