Travel Vaccinations
Travel vaccines are best given at least 6 to 8 weeks before travel. However, if you book a last minute holiday please still contact the practice for advice and possible immunisation.
When you call to make an appointment you will be given a telephone consultation with one of the nursing team. The nurse will then check your records to identify what vaccines and advice you may require. If vaccines are needed the nurse will then make an appointment so that the vaccines can be given.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:
Most of our vaccines are free of charge. There are some that you will need to pay for and this will be discussed during the telephone consultation. We do not give all foreign travel vaccines at the practice but we will give you information about where they can be obtained.
