The Health Visiting Staff Nurse runs clinics every week at the Practice on a Monday and Thursday afternoon for all pre-school age children. Please phone to book an appointment.

Chronic Disease Clinics
If you suffer from any chronic disease we will invite you to attend for review at least once per year. You will be sent a letter in the month of your birthday inviting you to make an appointment with one of our practice nurses to attend for review of all the chronic conditions you have. If you are unable to attend the Surgery, please let us know and one of our district nursing team can visit you at home to carry out these checks. Please ask at reception if you haven't been called.
Health Education Clinics
We all know that prevention is better than cure. Our practice nurses focus on disease prevention with assessment of risk factors and health promotion. Please contact the receptionists if you wish to make an appointment.
Smoking Cessation Clinics
Our nursing team are available to offer advice and support to those who wish help in stopping smoking. Other smoking cessation services are available out with the practice e.g. local pharmacist and Fresh Airshire. Please ask if you require further details.

We offer a full range of contraceptive services including the pill, insertion of IUDs (coils), diaphragms, contraceptive implants, sterilisation counselling and emergency contraception. Our practice nurses are specially trained in family planning and female health and are available for advice on any reproductive problem.
We offer the following minor surgery procedures:
- Cryotherapy - for warts/verrucae/some skin lesions. You can arrange an appointment with any GP for this type of procedure. Please note this service is unavailable on a Monday morning and Friday afternoon.
- Toenail surgery - in-growing toe nails can be removed if required. You should arrange an appointment with a GP to discuss this. Please note you will be unable to drive home after the operation, and please bring open-toed shoes as a large dressing will be applied.
- Skin lesions - certain skin lesions can be excised under local anaesthetic.You should arrange an appointment with a GP to discuss.

Our skilled physiotherapist will complete an assessment detailing the nature of the problem along with a physical examination. You will then be provided with advice and maybe some simple exercises. You may need to be referred onwards for further investigation or a course of treatment if required.
