First Antenatal Booking apppointments
The attached community midwives will be doing 1st antenatal booking appointments at the Birthing Centre at Maidstone Hospital. Please contact College Practice and give your details to staff. These will then be passed to the midwife who will contact you direct.

Cervical smears
This is a way of detecting early changes before the development of cancer so that preventative treatment can be given. We recommend that all sexually active women should have a smear test at least once every three years up to the age of 50 and 5 yearly to 64. Women will receive notification of the programme 6 months before their 25th birthday.
Services for children
The surgery offers a full range of services. Doctors Child health surveillance by appointment. We offer the normal checks up to five years of age.
Children’s clinics with the health visitor are run at various other venues throughout the week. Please phone 01622 226059 for details.
These clinics are held by the health visitors to weigh, measure and assess children & give advice. Development checks by appointment only.
The above services are for healthy babies only; please do not bring sick children to avoid the possibility of spreading infection.
Routine child immunizations are carried out by appointment with the Practice Nurse.
