Please do not contact the surgery to ask when you will receive your Covid Vaccine.  We can only run clinics based on the vaccines that are made available to us. We will contact you.

Prescriptions: We no longer take prescriptions over the phone. We request that you fill in the repeat slip on your form and post it through our letterbox or email your request. Alternatively you can use Patient Services to order your medication.

IF YOU REQUIRE A PRESCRIPTION PLEASE POST THE REQUEST THROUGH OUR LETTER BOX OR USE OUR ONLINE SERVICE.  WE CAN ARRANGE FOR THIS TO GO TO A CHEMIST OF YOUR CHOICE, PLEASE ALLOW MORE THAN 48HRS DUE TO THE HIGHT DEMAND AT THIS TIME.

Should I see the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner?  Nurse Practitioners are highly trained specialist nurses who have completed further education and training so that they can provide advanced nursing care and prescribe medication.  They can provide treatment and advice for many of the problems that traditionally you saw your Dr about in the past.  If you are unsure if they can deal with your problem please ask at Reception.

Test Results

Most blood, urine or xray results take about a week. Other tests can take a little longer before we are advised of any outcome from the hospital. If you are looking for any results, please call the surgery Monday to Friday from 11am to 5pm.

The practice is starting to update the way in which we contact patients regarding reminders and results. If you have a mobile number on file with ourselves we will start to send you an SMS (Text message) with any reminders that we need to inform you about and with any results from tests taken. If you would NOT like for this to happen and opt out, please get in touch with us and we will ensure that it is recorded.  

Our practice policy is only to provide patients with results when the tests have been instigated at the surgery. All tests undertaken by Secondary Care i.e. Ninewells Hospital etc patients should contact the relative department to obtain their results.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
