Surgery Opening Hours

The surgery will be open once a month on a Saturday for pre-booked GP appointments only. The surgery will be open from 9am-12pm on those Saturdays.  (Please click on Extended hours tab for more information about this clinic)

The Surgery is open Mondays to Fridays 8.30am to 6.30pm (phone line from 8.00am), excluding bank holidays.

If you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please hang up and call 111.

Calls to this number are free from landlines and mobiles.

If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999.

The surgery will be open once a month for pre-booked GP appointments only, not for urgent problems. 

These additional appointments on Saturdays are provided for those patients who are unable to attend during normal opening hours. Please ring the surgery on 01420 477968 during normal opening hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm to book your appointment.

Please note nurse appointments will not be available on those Saturdays.

On Saturdays, the receptionist will be able to help with

• Booking appointments
• Collecting prescriptions (but not processing prescriptions)
• Receiving prescription requests.

For any complicated queries, please ring as normal during our normal opening hours.

Appointments 6.30 pm to 8 pm weekdays, and 9-5 on Saturdays. These appointments may be remote or face to face and are from varied locations. Please ask reception staff if you like to book into any of these slots.    

TARGET training day 

Arranged by the Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight health Authority for Local GP Surgeries

TARGET is a scheme that brings our city’s Primary Care workforce together to learn new skills, hear about new treatments and share good practice.

It means that your surgery will need to close to facilitate this training but we will ensure that medical care will be available when you need it.

The surgery will therefore be closed on the following afternoon from 1pm

but the Out of Hours service (which can be accessed by calling 111) will cover:
