When We Are Closed

You can access a GP at any time if you need one by calling NHS111. The 111 operator will put you through to Bath & North East Somerset Doctors Urgent Care (BDUC), which is the local Out-of-Hours GP service.

The GPs and nurses who work for BDUC are mainly local, although they may work for a different GP practice. The BDUC operator will arrange for you to speak to a doctor or nurse, or to see one, or to have a home visit, depending on what you need. This service works with us to provide GP services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For further information about this service please use the NHS website at www.nhs.uk/111/

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
