You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use www.patientaccess.com you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well. For more information go to www.nhs.uk/nhsapp.

If you need medical help fast and it isn't a 999 emergency, please call NHS 111. They will assess you, provide advice and direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and calls are free, including from mobiles.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
