Opening Times & Phone Lines

Phones are live from 0800 each weekday morning - the telecoms system will offer you the following options:

Option 1 - General Appointments - for booking, requesting and cancelling GP or Nurse appointments

Option 2 - Test Results - available from 1000 each day

Option 3 - Medical Secretary - for hospital and other outpatient department referrals and information - please Note on some days the Medical Secretary line (option 3) will not be attended until 1100.  For those with urgent messages for the Medical Secretary, if you leave a voicemail message, these are checked 4 times per day and you will receive a call back or other response - thank you.

From 1830 to 0800 Monday to Friday and weekends the phone message will advise all patients to call the "111 Service" for urgent care matters and to only attend Accident & Emergency (A&E) for genuine accidents and emergency health matters.

Please note:

*    As of February 2023 Extended access clinics are operated by the GP Hub (ACE Ltd - staff will offer appointments from 1830 on appropriate days if required

** The Surgery is closed on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 1300 until 0800 Wednesday for NHS Accredited Staff Training and Learning
