When We Are Closed
Between 18:00 and 08:00 and at weekends and bank holidays, if you need to consult a doctor for an emergency you can phone NHS111 on 111.
If the doctor decides your condition does not require a home visit, you may be asked to travel to the Primary Care Centre in Beverley (at the New Beverley Hospital) or be given advice over the telephone.
Please remember that this is an emergency service and do not telephone out of hours for routine enquiries, and also note that the service in Beverley is only for those patients who are asked to attend by the doctor on call, it is not a walk-in centre.

NHS 111
Alternatively you can access urgent assistance by calling NHS111 on 111. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor. An appointment will be given to you to attend an 8 - 8 centre located in Driffield and Withernsea.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
