Please call 111 for urgent medical advice when we are closed. Always call 999 if experiencing life threatening emergency.
Are you experiencing domestic abuse?
The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
The risk to the general public is moderate. If you have arrived back to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau within the last 14 days, follow the specific advice for returning travellers.
Call 111 now if you've been:
- to Wuhan or Hubei Province in China in the last 14 days (even if you do not have symptoms)
- to other parts of China, including Macau and Hong Kong, in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild)
- to Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Republic of Korea or Malaysia in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even it it's mild)
- in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus
Do not go to a GP surgery, community pharmacy or hospital. Call 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people.

Clinical Staffing Update - Retirement of Dr Pearce
Dr Alan Pearce, former Senior Partner of Hailsham Medical Group, has now retired. He will be working with us as a Locum until the 25 October 2019. Dr Sabina Spencer is now the Senior Partner.
Whilst we hope to be able to replace Dr Pearce, you will all appreciate that GP recruitment in East Sussex and across the entire country is exceptionally challenging. Here at Hailsham Medical Group, we are extremely fortunate to have a full complement of highly experienced Allied Healthcare Professionals who will continue to help us provide outstanding clinical care to our patients.
Those of you who currently have Dr Pearce listed as your “Usual GP” will be notified in due course, via this website, as to the nominated GP who will be listed as your Usual GP going forward
Remember only one problem can be discussed per appointment.
If you need to discuss more than one issue with the clinician, please advise the receptionist when making your appointment.
