Support Using The Internet 

If you’d like to use the NHS App but struggle with the internet there is help out there. Try this website

Telephones (August 2023)

The surgery’s telephone system has being upgraded. 

The system will now tell you your position in the queue and also a chance to request a call back if you are towards the back of the queue. Calls may also be recorded

It has other features that will allow us to better understand the volume of calls we receive and help us adapt our service to make future improvements

SURGERY CLOSURES

The Practice be closed on the Bank Holiday dates Monday the 25th of December, Tuesday the 26th of December and Monday the 1st of January.

We will also be closed from Midday on Wednesday the 21st of February 2024 for staff training.

We will be open as normal on the morning of the days following these dates.

Please ensure you have ordered any prescription with these closure dates in mind.

NHS Diabetes Advice helpline

NHS England and NHS Improvement have launched a new helpline in response to disruption to normal diabetes services due to the COVID-19 pandemic and response.

The service is for adults living with diabetes who use insulin to manage their condition and require immediate clinical advice.

Whether you or a member of your household have caught the virus, or routine care has been disrupted, the helpline is available for immediate clinical advice to help you understand how to effectively manage their diabetes.

You can access NHS Diabetes Advice via Diabetes UK’s support line on 0345 123 2399 Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.

Digital Photographs

Your GP may ask you to send a photograph to help diagnose your condition when they hold a telephone consultation with you. Please note any digital image submitted as part of a consultation will be stored within your medical record. Please send only .jPeg or .Tiff files.

Video Consultations available

Consultations with a GP or Practice Nurse can now be held by video. This service is available to users of Patient Online Access Services. Current users can telephone us and request a video consultation. You can log in to your Online Access Service app or website at the appointment's time and join the video clinic by following the onscreen instructions. Patients who are not yet Online Access Service users can obtain access by telephoning us and speaking to the Reception team.

Extended Hours Service

The service to open GP and Nurse appointments at evenings and weekends is now available. See the Extended Hours Service page for details.

Infection Control Annual Statement 2020

Catchment Area map now available

The map that displays our Catchment Area is now available to use on the Practice Boundary page. The Catchment Boundary has been altered from an earlier area of coverage. Patients whose current address is now outside the new area will not be required to register at another Surgery. Patients will only need to register at another Practice if they move to an address that is outside the displayed area.
