Requesting prescriptions
The surgery has recently reviewed its prescribing policy and has made several fundamental changes. Please note that prescriptions should be ordered at least 48 hours in advance.
We also ask that you arrange for your prescriptions to be collected or posted to a local pharmacy to reduce the flow of patients attending th esurgery.
NHS 24: new telephone number
NHS 24 has introduced a new FREE telephone number for patients to use when requiring urgent treatment out of surgery hours. The number is simply 111 and can be used now.
Phishing "scam" Emails
The surgery has recently been made aware that some of our patients may have received an email detailing their test results and that they should contact a designated telephone number to discuss these results. The surgery would not transmit test results to its patients via email. This known is a phishing (scam) email and you should not respond to this request. Patients are advised to delete the email, without opening it and not to click on any links. If you have any doubt, please contact the surgery, where a member of the team can confirm any previous actions.

The surgery is in the process of updating your medical records, ahead of introducing new technology which will improve the management of your appointments, making it easier and hassle-free. We would ask that you speak to a receptionist to ensure we have your most up to date contact information.
