CAMHS Information

CAMHS are part of the new mental health helpline and will be taking telephone calls for young people up to the age of 18 (17yrs 364 days) until 11.30pm in the evening, 7 days per week.  The CAMHS clinician will complete a consultation with the young person and ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved for them.  If the young person is over the CAMHS commissioned age range they will be transferred to adult mental health services should there be a need. The number to contact them on is 0345 646 0827.

Scam Warning - Cervical Screening

Public Health England (PHE) has advised of a potential scam involving a text message being sent to some women claiming to be from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme “Call and Recall” service.

The text message advises that the recipient is overdue for their cervical screening test (smear test) and to call a mobile number to book an appointment and provide personal details. 

These text messages are NOT from the NHS cervical screening programme, please DO NOT disclose any personal information should you receive this message.

This has been reported to the Action Fraud Line.
