Appointments

circled_dayAll consultations are by appointment. These can be made by telephone, in person or online via the above link.

Please ask at reception for a PIN number to use the online services.

Appointments can be made on the telephone from 08:00 each morning. Please ring either surgery to make your appointment as our receptionists can access the appointment lists at both surgeries. If your problem is urgent, we will always see you on the same day.

There may be times when your GP of choice is not available. If this happens then you will be offered an appointment with another GP.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions issued during your consultation will be dispensed while you wait. Please return to the waiting room and you will be called when your medication is ready.

Telephone Consultations

If you would like to speak to a GP but do not need to attend the surgery, you have the option of booking a telephone consultation. Because it is not always practical for you to ring and find a doctor free at a set time, we will usually take your telephone number and the doctor will ring you back.

Practice Nurses/HCA's

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse or healthcare assistant rather than a doctor. Practice nurses and HCA's are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
