Appointments

Any requests to see or talk to a health professional must be made by telephone or in person. Please be aware that the receptionist will ask for a brief description of your problem so that you can be allocated to the appropriate health professional. All under 16s will be seen the same day for an acute problem. There are a range of urgent on the day and pre-bookable appointments available.
PATIENT PREFEENCE OF PRACTITIONER
Patients have the right to express a preference for a consultation by a particular clinician, however there will be instances where clinicians may not be available or dose not perform the particular service you require.
We will at all times try to accommodate a patients request to speak to a clinician of their choice.
NOT SEEN A GP WITHIN 3 YEARS
If you are aged between 16 and 74 and you have not had a consultation or been to a clinic at the practice in the last three years, you can book a consultation. At this appointment we will carry out an examination or tests that you need. If you are over 75 and you have not had a consultation with us in the last 12 months, you can also book a consultation.
It is very important to explain your health problem to the receptionist.
Only Non URGENT appointment requests and queries can be emailed to enquiries.w98043@wales.nhs.uk
All other queries such as test results or admin please ring after 1pm.
Did you know that your local chemist can now handle many minor ailments? If you do not pay for your medication this can be extended to the chemist on prescription items.

Cancellations
When patients fail to attend pre-booked appointments it prevents someone else being seen. If patients frequently fail to turn up or give enough cancellation notice (24 hours) they may be asked to register somewhere else.
