Extended GP Access

Millview Surgery work in collaboration with Roundwood Surgery, Acorn Medical Practice, Churchside Medical Practice and Forest Medical Practice to provide GP Appointments
Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-12pm.
This means if you require a non-emergency, pre-booked, doctors appointment when we are not open you may be able to see a GP at one of the practices listed above.
You can book these appointments 4 weeks in advance by contacting the practice you are registered with.
Unfortunately these appointments cannot be booked through the online system.

Extended GP access service is accessible 7 days per week. If you require an appointment on a Sunday please enquire with the reception team.

Urgent Appointments

If you have an urgent problem every effort will be made for you to be seen on the same day.  Please ring from 08:00 but it may not be possible for you to see the doctor of your choice and you may have to wait.  The earlier you make your request for an appointment the easier it is to fit you in!

Telephone Consultations - GPs, Nurse Practitioner and Nurses

Please note that there are a number of telephone appointments available after morning surgery.  To book one of these consultations please telephone reception and the medical professional will ring you back around midday.

Chaperone

Please note if you are having an intimate examination a chaperone can be provided. This service is available to both male and female patients. Please ask a member of staff for details.

Patient Responsibilities

Please note that the surgery operates a zero tolerance policy towards violence, both physical and verbal.  The staff are here to help and advise you in obtaining the best possible service from the Practice.  We would appreciate you treating them with the respect they duly deserve.
